Postdoctoral Position In Ultrafast Spectroscopy

We are looking for a highly motivated, bright and enthusiastic candidate with a strong background in ultrafast spectroscopy. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in Physics, Chemistry or a related area, and an excellent publication record.

An interest in designing and constructing novel ultrafast experiments, a good knowledge of Labview and Matlab along with a strong background in the photophysics of organic semiconductors, molecular systems, colloidal nanocrystals or low-dimensional semiconductors will be required. Experience with NOPAs, short pulse generation, time resolved microscopy or high-speed data acquisition would be a plus. We provide a highly international and interdisciplinary environment, and working along side collaborators both in Cambridge and across the world will be a key part of the work.

The start date for the position is 1st April 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
